ANGELA O’BYRNE HONORED AS A 2016 YLC ROLE MODEL
YOUNG LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
For her dedication not only to the City of New Orleans but also to the continued development of its future leaders, Angela O’Byrne has been named a 2016 Young Leadership Council (YLC) Role Model. YLC Role Model award winners are selected based on contributions to their industries and the New Orleans community as a whole. Recipients may receive the honor only once in a lifetime, truly distinguishing the field of chosen individuals.“While I was at Perez, Angela’s hard work ethic inspired me to try and keep up with her,” said Joseph St. Martin, former employee, and nominator. “Whether through on-the-job training or just one-on-one communication, she ensures that what she has learned – by way of over 30 years of industry experience – make you a better professional. Now a small business owner myself, I know firsthand how Angela’s desire to ensure those around her succeed has resulted in the evolution of new design firm principals and owners here in New Orleans and around the country.”Angela joins a class of 26 outstanding business, community, and civic pioneers who will be honored at the YLC’s 30th annual Role Model Awards Gala on September 17. For more information on both the honorees and attending the gala, check out the YLC’s press release here.
