Perez fast-tracked the design of the renovation of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, which had to be completed in time for the Super Bowl. Perez created a unifying theme of lively colors and finishes, to update the aging terminal. Perez also designed repairs of the entire airport immediately after Hurricane Katrina.

Perez master planned a new 10,000-acre community to be located adjacent to the Denver International Airport– 1,000 room hotel & conference center; 4,000 residential units; 1 million sq. ft. super-regional mall; one 18 hole Jack Niklaus golf course; sports arena, and 3 edutainment pavilions; 2 million sq. ft. executive office park; parking for all of the uses; elevated personal rapid rail transit system; jogging and biking trails at grade; vehicular roads at grade; all arranged around large, scenic, man-made lakes.

Perez designed the renovation of this historic warehouse, into 5 apartments—with interior parking on the 1st floor, an interior courtyard with balconies facing inwardly for upper floors, and balconies facing Camp St. with wrought-iron railings.

Perez designed a 9,000 square foot, $1.8 million office building for owners of private airplanes—high-end finishes, views of the runway from most rooms in the terminal, vertical atrium connecting 1st & 2nd floors, canopies designed to look like airplane wings giving an aerodynamic quality to the building.
